Tomb Raider: Ascension is Stephen Reynolds’ fan film from 2007, starring Anna Tyrie as Lara Croft.

Filmed over the course of just seven days for a budget of £10,000, Tomb Raider: Ascension focusses on telling the origin story of Lara Croft.

On its initial release online in 2008, the film was downloaded 20,000 times on the first day. Not bad for a film with a marketing budget of $0.00!
